Introduction to Family Promise of Lawrence:

FPL was established in Lawrence, KS in 2008. We welcomed our first family in the fall of that year and have grown our services and programs to meet the needs in Lawrence and Douglas County. From our the fall of 2008 until spring of 2021, we have served nearly 1000 local families in our programs.

Our mission is to serve children and families who are in a situation of homelessness, or who are precariously housed, get back to permanent sustainable housing as promptly as possible. We have programs that expand a continuum of services.
