Briefly describe how you would like to help through Family Promise:

Sponsor a Work Day-

“The families were so nice and appreciative of our work. I would like to become friends with them!” -Broderick T.

“I thought it was really interesting to see how the system works and what everyone does to take care of everyone else”

-Miranda C.

Sponsoring a work day is a great way to introduce your group to Family Promise. Groups are involved in a variety of projects with a variety of skill levels. Youth groups, Sunday school classes, University groups, and congregations help with cleaning, building, organizing, landscaping, and many other tasks. Work days can be arranged to fit most schedules and time constraints contact Becky Peters for more information.

Become a Supporting Congregation-

“A church helping a family in need gives me hope for the family; churches working together to help a family, gives me hope for the church.”- Father Matt Zimmerman- St. Margaret’s Episcopal

“By hosting for Family Promise a congregation can serve a mission in their own building.  The entire family and congregational community, youth and seniors can all easily participate together.  Congregations open their doors to Family Promise guests for one week each quarter.  Together along with supporting congregations the guests are provided safe lodging, meals, and hospitality and friendship.”  If your church would like to learn more about becoming a hosting or supporting congregation please contact Dana Ortiz.
