There are so many things we can learn from a child.
Their resilience and pleasure in small things is unmatched.  They accept help readily and smile even when we have disrupted their sweet slumber.
I was so touched by a little boy the other night.   He came toddling out of his room wrapped in nothing more than his silky blue blanket.  His sweet brown eyes landed on me.  Binki grasped in his mouth, he inquired of his mama.  His small steps kept taking him closer to her, but she was still a long way off.   I asked, may I carry you?  Without hesitation, he allowed me, a stranger, but for our common dwellings, to gather him into my arms.  He snuggled himself into my shoulder and with the trust that only a child posesses, we set out to find mama….
