Family Promise works with families, only families. This distinction signifies the community that permeates every single aspect of what we do, and the love that is moved into community action in our midst.
A few minutes ago I sat down to talk with a young mom about how we would make sure children and their parents get a good dinner here at church. She’s just signed up to become the first Family Promise Meal Coordinator for Plymouth Church here in Des Moines, Iowa.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? How about cleaning and painting the interior of 2 homes – to get them move in ready for graduate family promise guests? We have generously been given the use of 2 properties for transitional/temporary housing and are working this Saturday to help get them ready for families! …Details
