We’ve been busy! Family Promise of Lawrence has added a few more programs based on the enormous needs we hear about from the families who are calling us for services. Our response to these needs are expansions of our program offering to our community and we are very excited to tell you about these!

I would like to tell you about my experience with Family Promise. A co-worker told me about the organization. I called and set an appointment to discuss my situation to see if I qualified for the program.
I’ve filled several roles with Family Promise since its inception in 2008 but the most important has been being a Community Partner.
My time on the board at Lawrence Family Promise is winding down.
This fall we opened up a new role at FPL, which we call, Peer Advocates. It is something that has always happened organically at the Day Center. Graduates are always in and out of the Day Center, visiting, having some coffee, encouraging the current families enrolled in programming. So we decided to formalize it!
