Evan Williams Catering

Years sponsoring the 5K Home Run: 7 years

Why do you sponsor the 5K? Over the years I’ve heard nothing but great things about Family Promise. It’s a well-run program and so appreciated by the families who benefit. The staff at Evan Williams Catering have shown a particular concern for the children in Lawrence, and this program meets all the criteria for an organization worthy of our support.

Do you participate with Family Promise throughout the year? I became familiar with Family Promise through my dear friend, Amy Wilson. She has been a “boots on the ground” supporter at her church and I occasionally contribute leftovers to help feed the families.
