The New Year serves as a convenient time for reflection, which may also include the evaluation of regrets. I have a couple big regrets this year that have caused deep pain.

Such a busy, joyous time, this year made even busier by a family moving out this week, interviews for new families, donations, adopt a family Christmas distribution to graduate families, those in transitional housing and the families in the current rotation as well as the ever ringing phone with families in need of services.
As I sit at my desk in the Family Promise Day House, I am in awe of the quiet.
