This fall we opened up a new role at FPL, which we call, Peer Advocates. It is something that has always happened organically at the Day Center. Graduates are always in and out of the Day Center, visiting, having some coffee, encouraging the current families enrolled in programming. So we decided to formalize it!
We have much to be thankful for. In this work, sometimes the tasks at hand can feel overwhelming, but that is exactly the bit today that I am most thankful for in our network.

The Day House has been alive lately. Lots of littles are darting in and out of the office, arguing over toys, greeting everyone who comes in the door. Parents are trying to wrangle kids, get them out the door, make them share, get them bathed or keep them out of the bathroom.
Today is… nothing special. Get up, do whatever work the day holds, feed children, put them to bed, try to breath a second or two…. The actions of the day are simple.
