Hadiya Hazel moved to Lawrence, KS in 2016 to attend The University of Kansas. Throughout her years there, she met amazing people in the university as well as around the community. Her family has always been involved with community/ volunteer work. This, along with other life changing events, developed her passion for learning more about people and building bridges where there are differences.
She thinks of Family Promise as a place that offers friendly smiles and warm welcomes to all who walk through the doors. She is happy to be a part of a team that continually gives their all to serve the people of Lawrence.
