Housing Stabilization Collaborative

Family Promise of Lawrence and Tenants to Homeowners  formed the HSC to provide rental assistance, resource navigation and case management supports for low-income Douglas County renters whose incomes have been compromised by COVID-19.  Eligible tenants can receive rental assistance, arrears, or move in expenses to keep them housed.

UPDATE: Dec 24, 2020:  We are sorry to announce that the funding for CARES HSC project has been depleted.  The application has been removed from the website.

The HSC is looking for additional funding supports in 2021.

Family Promise of Lawrence has a Prevention Program, if you wish to enroll, or find out additional information, please contact [email protected]

The Housing Stabilization Collaborative is a community effort between Tenants to Homeowners, Family Promise, Salvation Army, Willow, Success by 6, Ballard Center, Lawrence Community Shelter and Centro Hispano and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce. Any of the partnering agencies, who already work with an eligible tenant, can help them apply and provide the case management through the process.  Any other local agencies not on this list can also learn about HSC and apply with their clients.
